What is Paint Protection Film (PPF)
PPF is a transparent polyurethane film applied to your vehicle’s paint to protect against rock chips, scratches, road debris, and UV oxidation. It’s self-healing—light scratches disappear with heat from the sun or engine warmth.
-
How long does ppf last?
Our premium films are warrantied for 7–12 years, depending on the package you choose. Proper washing and maintenance can extend performance well beyond the warranty period.
-
Can PPF be removed later?
Yes. PPF is completely removable and leaves no residue when taken off by a professional installer using safe techniques.
-
Does PPF change the look of my car?
Standard PPF is virtually invisible, preserving your paint’s original color and gloss. You can also opt for colored or matte PPF to restyle your car without repainting.
-
What is a Ceramic Coating?
Ceramic Coating is a liquid polymer applied over your paint (or on top of PPF) that chemically bonds to the surface, adding extra gloss, depth, and environmental protection.
-
How long does Ceramic Coating last?
Depending on the coating package and care routine, it can last 2 to 5 years—or even longer with proper maintenance washes.
-
Can Ceramic Coating be applied over PPF?
Absolutely. In fact, we recommend it. The coating adds hydrophobic and UV protection to the film, making cleaning even easier.
-
Is Ceramic Coating scratch-proof?
No coating makes your car completely scratch-proof, but it does add a hardened barrier that resists minor swirls and helps preserve paint clarity.
-
How do I maintain my vehicle after installation?
We provide a simple maintenance guide. Use pH-neutral soap, microfiber towels, and avoid automatic brushes. You can also schedule maintenance washes with our shop.
-
How long does installation take?
Typical PPF installs take 1–3 days, depending on coverage. Ceramic coatings add 1–2 days for prep, cure, and inspection.
-
Will PPF or Ceramic Coating affect my warranty or insurance?
Not at all. These products are aftermarket enhancements that protect your investment and may even help retain resale value.
